What happens when I borrow more than I need? Can I pay it back?

Find out what to do if you've accidentally borrowed more money than you need.

Before processing your request, MoneyUp's FastForward tool will ask you to confirm the withdrawal amount. We suggest borrowing only what you need at the moment and recommend a quick double-check of the amount before submission. Remember, you can always come back for more later! If you’ve borrowed more money than you currently need from your FastForward line of credit, you can either:

  • Leave the extra cash in your bank account and allow it to be automatically on the payment due date OR

  • Use the "Pay early" feature to return the excess amount at no additional charge
